Sept. 2 Emiko

Hello world. My name is Emiko and in a matter of 16 days, I will be moving into my dorm room at UC Santa Cruz and starting my freshman year of college. This blog will be shared between me and my friend Alexis, who is also starting her freshman year at Williams College.

To introduce myself, I am 18, half japanese and half white, play tennis, and lacrosse and run track. I love to eat, have fun, and chill (pretty much the same as every other teenage girl). I will be majoring in psychology and minoring in education at UCSC under the plan to one day become either a elementary school teacher or some sort of counselor.

Through this blog, we will hopefully be able to document our lives as college freshman and give us, as well as you guys (we don't have any followers yet. hehe) a place to put all of our triumphs and struggles as we start the beginning of the rest of our lives.

However, until move-in day, I will be working at a little engineering company with my friend Kendra, where we put together little prescription bottle for minimum wage.
